All mouth guards should be resilient yet comfortable and replaced every season. Here are some options:
- Stock Mouth Guards – they are inexpensive and ready to wear. The downside is they may not fit well, are bulky and can make breathing difficult.
- Boil & Bite Mouth Guard – easy to find at your local sporting goods store. These pre-formed guards can be altered by boiling them in water then biting them into a customized fit just for you.
- Custom-made mouth guards – for your best protection and fit, there’s nothing better than a customized mouth guard. You dentist makes an impression of your teeth creating a perfect fit just for your mouth. This is the most expensive sports mouth guard option.
